Check your eligibility first

Staked play is for adults aged 18 or above, or the higher age required where they live. You must satisfy the Terms, be outside restricted jurisdictions and be legally permitted to participate in real-money skill games. Reading a public guide does not establish eligibility to sign in, fund an account or play.

Sign-in and the age confirmation are self-attestations. They are not completed identity verification, proof of residence or a guarantee that a withdrawal will be approved. Additional checks and restrictions can apply.

Check your eligibility first

  1. Read the Terms

Before playing for stakes, take a look at Terms from the footer. Check eligibility: you must be at least eighteen, or the higher legal age where you live.

  2. Check your location

Check the restricted-location list and the rules that apply to you. Public guides explain how DUELO works; they do not confirm that you are eligible to participate.

  3. Review account requirements

Next, review the account and verification requirements. Signing in or confirming your age does not verify identity or residence. Additional checks can apply before a withdrawal.

  4. Decide your limits

Give yourself limits before you start: time, spending, and stakes. Read Responsible play, choose stakes deliberately, and use only money you can afford to lose.

Understand coins and funding

DUELO coins are internal account units. Supported USDT and USDC deposits on Solana credit coins at a 1:1 accounting rate after the required transaction checks. Coins are used for match stakes; they are not an investment or a promise of profit.

The product offers supported external Solana wallet payments, third-party card onramps and an advanced exchange-deposit option. Availability and charges depend on the payment provider. Always use the asset, network and deposit address shown in your account. A transfer on the wrong network or in an unsupported asset may be unrecoverable.

  1. Choose your coin amount

Here's how to add coins. In Store, choose Buy Coins and select a package, such as fifty coins, or enter your own amount. Check the checkout total.

  2. Review the purchase

Now open the purchase panel and review the details. Wallet payments use a connected external Solana wallet. Card and exchange-deposit options follow the steps shown in your account.

  3. Check asset and network

Before approving the wallet request, check the supported asset, Solana network, destination and amount. Confirmed USDT or USDC funding credits coins at a one-to-one accounting rate.

  4. Review balance and activity

Once confirmed, check the updated header balance. Open Wallet to find the deposit and its status. Keep that receipt, then choose a stake that fits your budget.

Choose the game, options and stake

The lobby currently offers Tic Tac Toe, Connect 4, Barricade and Dots and Boxes. Tic Tac Toe has four board sizes; the other games use fixed boards. Current stake presets are 1, 5, 10, 25 and 50 coins per player.

The public lobby starts realtime matchmaking. It pairs players with the same game, mode, stake and game options. Joining a queue reserves your stake, so those coins are unavailable for another purchase or match while you wait. You can cancel a still-waiting queue entry to release the reserved stake; a match that has already paired follows the active-match rules.

  1. Find your game

Find your next game in Games: Tic Tac Toe, Connect Four, Barricade, or Dots and Boxes. Try search or filters, then take a look at the rules.

  2. Choose board and stake

Choose your board options and stake. Tic Tac Toe offers four board sizes; the other games use fixed boards. Available stakes run from one to fifty coins.

  3. Start matchmaking

Happy with the game, board and stake? Select Play. Matchmaking looks for an opponent with the same game, mode, stake and options. Your stake stays reserved while you wait.

  4. Wait for your opponent

While the queue is still waiting, you can cancel to release the reserved stake. Once a match is found, both players open and confirm their boards before play.

Play against the accepted board state

The server checks whose turn it is, validates moves and determines the result. Both players must confirm that their boards are visible before the first realtime turn clock starts. During play, follow the turn indicator and countdown around the board.

A timeout or forfeit can lose the match and stake. A lost connection does not stop the match indefinitely. If the board or connection fails, use the recovery controls and contact support with the match details; do not assume a disconnect guarantees a refund.

  1. Make sure your board is ready

Your match is ready. First, check that the board is visible and working, then choose Board Visible. The first realtime turn clock starts after both players confirm.

  2. Follow the turn indicator

Watch the turn indicator and countdown. Your turn? Choose a legal move. The server checks it, then both players see the accepted position. That's the board to follow.

  3. Play the accepted position

Keep going from the confirmed board, following your game's rules. In Dots and Boxes, for example, completing a box can give you another turn. Watch what changes after each move.

  4. Recover promptly if needed

If the connection drops, use recovery controls promptly and check the restored board. The clock does not pause indefinitely. A timeout or forfeit can lose your match and stake.

Know the fee and the result

For a completed match with a winner, the two equal stakes form the pot. DUELO takes an 8% platform fee from that pot and credits the remaining 92% to the winner. The credited amount includes the winner's original stake; it is not all profit.

For example, two 5-coin stakes create a 10-coin pot. The fee is 0.8 coins and the winner receives 9.2 coins, a net gain of 4.2 against their own 5-coin stake. The losing player loses their 5-coin stake. A drawn or voided match returns the reserved stakes without a match fee.

The result receipt and wallet activity show the settlement. A rematch is a new staked match, so check the amount and your remaining budget before accepting.

  1. Review your match result

The match has ended. Take a look at the result and your stake. Both players' equal stakes form the pot; your balance and activity show the settlement.

  2. Understand the fee

Here's the fee breakdown. Five coins from each player make a ten-coin pot. Eight percent, or point eight coins, is the total platform fee. Your receipt shows your half: point four coins.

  3. Read the amount credited

The winner receives nine point two coins, including the original five-coin stake: a four-point-two-coin net gain. The other player loses five. Drawn or voided matches return both stakes without a match fee.

  4. Review activity before a rematch

Find the receipt and updated balance in Wallet. Before a rematch, check its stake and your budget. A rematch is a new match, with a fresh stake reserved.

Review withdrawals before depositing

Withdrawals currently use USDT on Solana, including when the original supported deposit was USDC. The current minimum is 5 coins, with a 0.5-coin withdrawal fee. The confirmation screen shows the amount and applicable limits.

Unverified soft-launch accounts currently have a 10-coin daily and 200-coin lifetime withdrawal cap. Reaching a verification threshold does not mean an automatic identity-check flow is available: full identity verification is not yet implemented. Eligibility, funding, account review, provider availability and the Terms can affect whether and when a withdrawal completes.

Make an informed choice

Read the rules and check your budget before entering a match. Staked play can result in losing your full stake. Account access and play remain subject to eligibility and regional restrictions.
